Chamua
is a very old village in present West Champaran district
of Bihar, earlier in the princely state of Ramnagar. It
can be said to be an ideal village of India where there
is a primary school, a high school, a primary health centre
and a 5 bed hospital. It has around 1000 homes of different
castes and communities including Brahmins ( Mishra, Tiwari
and Pathak families), Yadavas, Kurmis and members of Scheduled
Castes.
Mr. Ravindra
kumar Mishra is a respected teacher in the village
who taught for a decade in the Govt. Middle School, Sigri
Bahuary and presently teaching in another school near
the village. He has devoted his whole life in teaching
students of the village, most of his students are well
placed and done the village proud.
